Responsibilities
  • As a member of the senior leadership team, the VP of Account Management, Americas will be responsible for account growth, client satisfaction, profitability, and retention throughout North and South America.
  • This role includes:
    • Lead a diverse team of account managers, project managers and coordinators including hiring, mentoring, setting MBOs, monitoring performance, and managing P&L
    • Become a trusted advisor and leader, overseeing client strategic initiatives in collaboration with our digital services team, and interface with client constituents at all levels of client organizations
    • Proactively grow Shaw + Scott's footprint within existing client accounts and support efforts to win new business (participate in all aspects of business development from identifying opportunities to authoring statements of work)
    • Display curiosity and a willingness to push your own thinking and the agency's work in new directions
    • Ensure that work is delivered on-time, within budget, in accordance with Shaw + Scott's commitment to excellence
    • Work with company leadership to ensure effective communication, consistency, and efficiency across practice areas
    • Develop, refine and maintain a framework for account planning
    • Manage forecasting and resourcing
    • Optimize margin for all accounts under management
Requirements
  • 7+ years of deep experience in digital marketing, preferably with an emphasis on email marketing
  • 7+ years working in an agency or consulting firm
  • 5+ years successfully managing a team
  • Proven track record managing Fortune 1,000 accounts
  • Hands on, with a drive to fully understand clients' business goals and objectives
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and working knowledge of HTML
  • Experience working with email service providers such as Oracle Responsys or Salesforce Exact Target
  • Strong initiative, high energy, and impeccable integrity
  • Able to remain attentive to long-term goals in a busy day-to-day environment
  • Able to work in an autonomous environment

Responsibilities
  • Perform in-depth discovery of client's business, competitors and industry
  • Execute client engagements including:
    • Customer Contact Strategy: develop multi-channel contact strategies targeted to different customer segments
    • Strategic Roadmap: Inventory all facets of an existing email marketing strategy and identify strengths and weaknesses. Based on findings, provide recommendations for short and long term strategic initiatives
    • Campaign Optimization: work with clients to optimize email marketing campaigns and programs. Develop strategic recommendations for improved performance of client's email marketing initiatives
    • Optimization Audits: help clients gain insights into their business and customer behavior through analysis of 2+ years of campaign data, transactional data, customer profile data, etc. Perform detailed analyses across programs, campaigns, and segments and making actionable recommendations for improvement
  • Provide clients with tactical recommendations on a variety of topics including creative, deliverability, data hygiene, privacy, segmentation, testing strategies, etc
  • Manage multiple clients, project tasks, timelines and deliverables
Requirements
  • 5+ years of deep experience in interactive marketing: email marketing, social media, website analytics, search marketing, online acquisition
  • 3 to 5+ years working in an agency or consulting firm
  • Solid understanding of the online marketing space with knowledge of direct marketing principles and research techniques
  • Current knowledge around email marketing opportunities and challenges including deliverability, creative, segmentation and modeling, privacy and data security, etc
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills (including data mining)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including onsite presentations to large groups and C -level marketers
  • Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, HTML
  • Strong initiative, high energy, and impeccable integrity
  • Well-organized, self-directed, and detail-oriented

Responsibilities
  • Provide quantitative and strategic marketing consulting services to new and existing clients. Examples include:
    • Campaign optimization: Work with clients to improve email and online marketing campaign performance. Develop strategic recommendations for improved performance of client's email marketing initiatives
    • Lifecycle marketing program development: Analyze existing lifecycle programs, and develop strategies to improve or create acquisition, retention, cross-sell, and win-back programs
    • Marketing program optimization audits: Conduct detailed assessments of current marketing or email programs and make actionable recommendations for improvement
    • Share insights: Help clients gain insights into their business and customer behavior through reporting and analysis of campaign data, transactional data, customer profile data, etc.
  • Support the following activities while working with clients and Shaw + Scott internal teams:
    • Creating marketing communications strategies and plans, including marketing playbooks
    • Developing profiles/personas of targeted consumers for marketingcommunications
    • Assessing customer data to develop customer segment recommendations
    • Determining most effective communications channels and tools
    • Determining timing and cadence, and other characteristics of campaigns and programs
    • Creating test plans and analyzing their efficacy
    • Define performance metrics and measurement schemes
    • Designing, creating, and distributing reports using a variety of analytical tools, including Excel and Tableau
    • Creating documents to communicate findings and recommendations and presenting them to clients
    • Conducting industry or functional research and related analyses to support client service work
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in interactive marketing: email marketing, social media, website analytics, search marketing, online acquisition

  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
